Trash - hot topic! It's everywhere we look right now. In the streets, in our ocean, on the beach, in our forests. It's estimated that by 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. World production of plastic alone, has increased from 2.3 million tons in 1950 to 448 million by 2015. This is why we see so much of it around. Plastic is being used for just about everything and it's feeling rather fake out there! So, while some people are focussed on greening our earth again and cleaning up, the rest of the world are trapped in being unaware, uneducated and feeling like they can't make a difference. We live in a fast paced, all consuming, world of want. Everything is packaged for convenience, Just about everything is wrapped in plastic and we just don't stop wanting more and more and more. So when will it end? If we place pressure on Corporates, they will be forced to change. If we don't take our planet's future seriously, we seriously might not have one left in generations to come. Ice caps are melting, the earth gets hotter and we continue to trash the earth like it will fix itself, but plastic will remain on earth for some 600 years before it can decompose. What the world wants is not what we want. We seem to want the plastic and the trash and not care about the effects. We want too much. It's clear by now? Isn't it time to reuse, reduce and recycle? Enough is enough! and
